Doddota Woreda Integrated Community Empowerment Project

At We Heart All, we are committed to helping break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future for families across the globe. Our community-based projects provide support to families in need, helping children go to and stay in school, providing skill building for caregivers, and empowering individuals to create a better future for themselves and their families.

In partnership with Arsi University, Arsi Zone Women's and Children Affairs, Local School Directors, Woreda Administration, Matson Homes, and supporters like you, we are creating a multidimensional pilot program to help families escape poverty, children receive education, families receive the healthcare they need and ultimately protect children by keeping families preserved and children safe with the people who care about them most.

We are dedicated to investing in underserved communities and providing resources to those who need it most. Our team of experts and volunteers work together to make sure that our mission is fulfilled and to ensure that our impact is felt by those we serve.

In the face of adversity, We Heart All's commitment to uplifting communities remains unwavering. With the generous support of Matson Homes, we have taken significant strides in improving the lives of 50 of the most vulnerable girls in Doddota Woreda, Ethiopia. By providing scholastic materials, school bags, and feminine products, we have enabled these young girls, who hail from single mother families, to continue their education and pursue brighter futures.

But this is only the beginning of our journey. Our vision extends beyond short-term aid; we believe in fostering sustainable change that empowers both children and families to thrive independently. Therefore, our next step is to address the pressing issue of economic stability in the community.

We understand that education and economic empowerment are intrinsically linked, which is why we are taking a groundbreaking approach. Our next initiative involves providing egg-producing chickens to the families of the girls in our program. This seemingly simple yet impactful step will offer families a reliable source of income, enabling them to put food on their tables and break the cycle of poverty.

By working together as a community, We Heart All aims to create a ripple effect of positive change. As these families embark on their journey towards financial independence, we will be providing comprehensive training on financial stability and planning. Equipped with valuable knowledge and skills, they will have the tools needed to navigate the challenges ahead and secure a better future for themselves and their children.

Our multifaceted program represents a holistic approach, addressing the immediate needs while laying the foundation for sustainable progress. It is through the collective effort of Arsi University, Arsi Zone Women's and Children Affairs, Local School Directors, Woreda Administration, Matson Homes, and supporters like you, that we can continue to make a lasting impact in Doddota Woreda.

We invite you to join us on this transformative journey. Together, we can empower communities to thrive, and create a brighter, more equitable future for all.
