Yona's dedication to serving children has been evident from a young age, as he started his journey while still in high school. Over the past 15 years, he has been actively involved as a volunteer, devoting his time and energy to making a positive impact on the lives of children in various capacities.
Yona's academic achievements are truly impressive, with a doctor's diploma in Social and Social Administration, a degree in Social Work, and a degree in Law. His well-rounded education and expertise in these fields will undoubtedly be valuable assets as he takes on the role of Director of Operations.
Notably, Yona currently serves as the Managing Director of Green Hill Primary School and Green Hill Nursery School, showcasing his commitment to education and fostering a nurturing environment for young learners. Additionally, his leadership role as Team Leader at Isingo Initiative for Humanity (an organization that we admire for its remarkable efforts in humanitarian work) further reflects his dedication to making a difference in the lives of those in need.
In his capacity as General Secretary for NPEIA, an association of Private Schools in Greater Busoga Sub-Region, Yona has actively worked to promote and improve the educational landscape, ensuring that every child has access to quality education.
We are confident that Yona's passion for community service and his vast experience will contribute significantly to the growth and impact of We Heart All's initiatives in Uganda. As we continue to strive towards empowering children and making a positive change, Yona's expertise will be instrumental in shaping our programs and ensuring they effectively address the needs of the local communities.
